Beware the medications

Have you ever been prescribed a medication that you just don’t want to take? If you feel it is not right for you, you are likely right! (see my previous post on intuition)

Medications change your biochemistry which means they change who you are.

Most people who prescribe medications don’t know much about the medications, how they function, how they affect you and how they interact with other things you are taking. The person to ask about all of this is your pharmacist, not your doctor. Pharmacists, not MDs, are trained in drugs.

A prescription is a big deal! Anything that changes you should be well-considered. If your doctor refuses to give you alternatives to medication, they do not have your interests in mind. You can always get another opinion before you start any kind of treatment.

Once you start taking medications it can be a little tricky to stop, but it is definitely possible with the right support. Don’t ever just stop taking something. Consult with your doctor first. If they refuse to help you stop taking a medication, again, they do not have your interests in mind. It is time for a new doctor.

Health comes from within you and medications are not healthy. If you’re ready for another opinion, I’m here for you. Message me, we can figure this out!
