Love You
Yes, it’s Valentine’s Day and I think it’s an opportunity to celebrate yourself. While it's a wonderful time to celebrate relationships, it's also the perfect opportunity to turn inward and focus on a different kind of love - self-love.
In the midst of our busy lives, it's easy to forget to prioritize ourselves. Especially for those of us who are struggling with our health holidays, even minor ones can be a challenge. Taking care of your own well-being is essential for leading a fulfilling life and being able to be available to those we love. What can you do to prioritize you?
Here are some simple yet powerful ways to practice self-love and boost your well-being:
Take at least 15 minutes all to yourself (more if you can!) This means no phone, no kids, no spouse, just some time that is exclusively carved out just for you. Be still and breathe, read a novel, go sit in the sunshine, enjoy a cup of tea…whatever it is that fills you up, do it!
Get some fresh air! It’s an amazing boost for your energy and your immune system. Even if it’s just for a few minutes, deep breathing outside can add so much life to your day.
Add some electrolytes to your water! Most water is not absorbable for your cells so it doesn’t help you hydrate,, but adding some electrolytes solves this. The cells can absorb the liquid, you’ll have to pee less often, and your body will thank you! (if you need a recommendation, reply to this email.
This Valentine's Day, let's remember that the most important relationship we have is the one we have with ourselves. By nurturing our body, mind, and spirit, we can cultivate a deep sense of self-love and appreciation that radiates outward into every aspect of our lives.
Wishing you a Valentine's Day filled with love, laughter, and abundant self-care.
With love and wellness,
